The needs of more able pupils are addressed through challenging material, which extends the existing series. Teachers can be sure all current National Curriculum requirements are being met through the directly related content and coverage of Extensions. Pupils and teachers will benefit from a broader choice of topics and places through in-depth case studies and integrated Ordnance Survey work. Pupils' literacy and communication skills are developed through extended reading, writing and oral work.
